The 'almost perfect' describes an aesthetic blemish or even a chip out of the base, or a tiny hairline crack that both revealed itself and healed it in the glaze firing. The photos are an accurate description, I will always try my best to represent the "imperfections", that to most people I've spoken to, add character to the piece.
